Why are cluster updates listed for non-cluster machines?

Hi,

I have run MBSA 2.1 on my SBS 2003 machine.

Under Exchange Security Updates > Result Details, all patches (other than
IMF) show both the Cluster and Non-Cluster version installed. See the list
below.

Certainly the Cluster version is not installed on SBS? Why are these
duplicates listed?

Mark

Mark - thanks for posting this on the MBSA newsgroup.

This looks like an error. At no time should updates that aren't explicitly
installed show up as 'installed' on a system for which they are either not
applicable (this is a non-cluster machine) or not explicitly installed (the
installation of the cluster versions wouldn't have successfully installed on
a non-cluster machine).

Can you privately send me the completed MBSA scan report for such a machine
with any personally identifiable information removed as well as the
WindowsUpdate.LOG file from the target machine directly after an MBSA scan.

I'll use this information to drive a fix in the Exchange logic to ensure
this is fixed. Thanks, Mark.

Thanks Doug. I've emailed the requested files. I hope that I guessed
correctly that I needed to remove the "online." from your email address.
